Boudoir photography is an intimate and empowering style of portraiture that goes beyond just sexy outfits and sultry poses. While Google defines it as "a photographic style featuring intimate, sensual, romantic, and sometimes erotic images," the true essence of boudoir is much deeper.
For the women who walk into the door of my studio, it’s about capturing the raw, authentic you—beyond job titles, societal expectations, and self-doubt.
Maybe you've let go of the ball and chain, and you're in your bad bitch era. You filed the divorce, you celebrated your independence, and now its time to remind yourself of what a bad ass you look like every morning!
Or maybe you're a toddler mom, you wake up in the morning with sweet hugs and kisses bc their in such a good mood when they wake up, and 13 minutes later you walk downstairs and all hell breaks loose! It’s a terrible 2 tantrum, the pull-ups on the ground, the shirt they picked out 5 minutes ago doesn’t feel good anymore, and all of a sudden you're in a downward toddler spiral.
Rinse and repeat for the next 4 years. Am I right???
Or maybe, your kids are grown, or almost out the door. Remember the days when you heard the pitter-patter of little feet running around and the pots and pans clanging in the kitchen, and then Oh my gosh, where did THIS stain come from? You JUST washed the couch cushions…
That feels like a lifetime ago, right?
I know things are different now, I know you used to count down the days until the kids were out of the house, And now they are, and you’re sitting there wondering, “now what do I do with my days?” I got to work, I go Home. I go to work, I go Home. What if you took one of those PTO days you’ve been saving up, and did something nice for yourself. You’ve put yourself on the back burner for SO LONG.
