Let me take the pressure off right away:You don’t need to change your body. You just need to show up.
But I get it—wanting to feel your best is part of the experience. So here’s what actually helps (and what you can totally skip).
1. Hydrate Like a Queen
Water is your best friend the week of your shoot. It helps your skin glow, minimizes bloating, and keeps you feeling energized.
Pro tip: Start increasing your water intake 3–4 days before your session. Bonus points if you skip salty snacks the night before.
2. Exfoliate + Moisturize
Soft, glowy skin photographs beautifully. Use a gentle exfoliator a couple days before your session, and moisturize daily (especially elbows, knees, and feet).
No need to slather on oils the morning of—too much shine can mess with the lighting.
3. Grooming: Totally Optional
Some clients wax or shave before their shoot. Some don’t. It’s entirely up to you.
There is no “right” way to show up. What matters most is that you feel comfortable and confident in your own skin.
4. Sleep = Your Superpower
Aim for solid sleep the night before. Not just for under-eye circles (although yes, that helps)—but because rest makes a massive difference in how you feel.
This isn’t about perfection. It’s about presence.
5. Don’t Crash Diet—Seriously
You might feel tempted to start a new diet or double up on workouts right before your session. Please don’t. Your body doesn’t need to be punished to deserve celebration.
Crash dieting can mess with your energy and mood—not worth it. Come as you are. That’s the whole point.
6. Trust the Process
I’ve got you. From the moment you arrive, you’ll be pampered with professional hair and makeup, access to my luxury client wardrobe (XS–4X lingerie, robes, heels, body jewelry, even angel wings), and coaching through every pose.
You don’t have to know how to be “sexy.” You don’t need to be confident. You just need to show up—and I’ll handle the rest.
